The OUBC is excited to announce the election of new Presidents for the 2025 Boat Race campaign.
Annie Anezakis is the Women’s President and Tom Mackintosh is the Men’s President.
Annie Anezakis
Annie rowed for St Catherine’s School and Mercantile Rowing Club in Australia before studying at Princeton University. Annie was a member of the 2022 and 2024 Women's Blue Boat. She is currently on the Graduate-Entry Medicine course which provides an accelerated pathway for graduates to pursue a career in medicine.
It’s a huge honour to be named OUBC Women’s President for the upcoming season. I’ve loved being a part of this Club for the last few years and am committed to continue building on our strong foundations. I look forward to working with my teammates, coaches and the men’s team to make this one of the best years yet for Dark Blue.

Tom Mackintosh
Tom will be studying on the Said Business School MBA programme after he has competed at the Paris Olympics. Tom is an Olympic Champion from the New Zealand men’s eight in Tokyo and World Championship bronze medalist in the single scull in 2023.
It’s a true honour to represent the OUBC as the President for the upcoming season. Since my novice (2012) season, I’ve watched the OUBC from afar and to be part of the Club is incredibly exciting. I’d like to recognise the strength of the other candidates and also express my gratitude to the Club for this vote of confidence. To be involved in a club with such history and tradition is a genuine privilege and I’m looking forward to the 2024/25 season
Tom Mackintosh - OUBC Men’s President
Both Annie and Tom bring exceptional talent and leadership to the OUBC squads for the 2024/25 season. Congratulations to them both for their appointment.
